Aingeru Genaut Arratibel
Aingeru Genaut Arratibel (Madrid, 1974) has been a professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) since 2001.
With a degree in Journalism from the University of Navarra, he received his PhD in Information Sciences in 2012 at the UPV/EHU, thanks to a research grant awarded by the Basque Government.
He has taught the subjects of Communication Policies, Opinion Genres and Journalistic Design, and currently teaches the subjects of Infographics and Journalism Technology, as well as Digital Editing in the UPV/EITB Multimedia Master’s Degree, and Cultural Journalism, in the UPV/EHU’s University Master’s Degree in Social Communication.
His main line of research focuses on new technologies and digital journalism, both in its theoretical (multimedia storytelling, modularity and narrative structures) and technical (multimedia editing, infographics and animation, databases and content management) dimensions.
