Sara Loiti Rodríguez
Predoctoral researcher at the Department of Journalism II with a grant from the Basque Government and PhD student of the Social Communication Program at the University of the Basque Country (UPV-EHU). Graduated with Excellence and Extraordinary Award in Audiovisual Communication (2017) and best academic record of the Master in Social Communication (2018) at the same university. Throughout her academic career she has developed a great interest in visual communication, therefore, she has taken several courses on visual thinking and graphic recording, for example, at Innobasque’s Global Innovation Day (2016) and has participated in the organization of several semiotics congresses (2015-2016). Her main line of research focuses on the study of the importance of message facilitation in institutional communication to promote social empowerment through new forms of communication such as visual thinking and graphic recording.
